Overview

When a starter motor fails or an alternator stops charging properly, most workshops want the car towed in. That gets expensive fast — towing fees, workshop time, your day blown. We bring the diagnostic gear, the tools and the replacement units to your location.

Starter and alternator issues mimic other faults — a tired battery can feel like a bad starter, a slipping belt can feel like a bad alternator. We test the whole system to confirm what's actually failed before we replace anything.

Our process

We test the battery, voltage drops across cables, and the starter draw before condemning anything. For alternators we check output at idle and at load, ripple voltage, and check that the drive system is intact. If we replace a unit, we fit a quality OE-spec or remanufactured unit and warrant the work.
